Festival Ready with Pretty Little Thing

Going to festivals has to be one of my favourite things to do in the summer time! And Pretty Little Thing is always my go to site for finding the perfect, cool festival outfit. So when they got in touch to collaborate I literally ~could not~ contain my excitement! I love that when it comes to fashion and styling an outfit for a festival, most of the time anything goes. In most cases the funkier & more out there, the better. It is such a great excuse to try different looks and break out your comfort zone. If you saw my festival look from Lovebox last year, you’ll know that I like wearing things a little bit different. Pretty Little Thing allowed me to choose anything out of their Festival Section to build and style 3 outfits which I have shown below. Let me know what you think!

Bright and bold jackets are definitely going to be a thing this summer. I usually keep my outfits to dark colours but couldn’t help be drawn to this orange jacket! I LOVE the stitch detailing on it and paired with an all black outfit makes it stand out even more. Seeing as England’s weather is so unpredictable, it’s good to have a jacket on hand for the evenings when the temperature drops or if you’re caught in the rain, so why not just make it part of your whole look anyway?! TOP TIP: play-suits are ideal for festivals when you want to dance around or sit on the grass and not have to worry about flashing your underwear to everyone. I paired the orange jacket with this tassel play-suit which ties up at the back. So cool and fun!

This outfit may be better for those wanting to be a bit more reserved (minus the bodysuit!). If you’re wanting to incorporate comfort into your festival look, this may well be the outfit for you! Pretty Little Thing are known for their flared trousers and have a wide collection to choose from. I opted for these velvet flares which are super comfy and soft. There’s nothing worse than going out feeling uncomfortable so if you’re not that confident in wearing an outfit too funky or getting your legs out, then flares are a great option. I put this with an animal print jacket, which again is SO comfortable, and a lace up bodysuit under. If you’re not so keen on the bodysuit, switch it for a band tee and tie it in a knot at the front for another cool look.

Co-ords are going to be a huge trend this summer. Especially denim ones in colours other than the typical blue denim. I have already seen them in SO many different retailers and cannot wait to get my hands on more! White is always riskayyy for festivals, so you will have to take into account the weather and if there will be muddy grounds. Nobody wants to ruin their white outfit with mud! But if the weather is on your side, then white is the perfect summery colour PLUS it deffo brings out any tan ( whether it be real or fake ) and what girl doesn’t want to look more tanned?! I paired this with an underboob bikini top  – another trend growing popular for the summer season. This is quite daring but I think looked pretty cool. Add on some chunky boots and a small bag and you’re good to go!
